Kitsune

Kitsune are fox spirits. The party has encountered them on several occasions, often in connection with the House of Peony's Grace. Kitsune are (usually? generally? always?) female, and they can take human form. Legend has it that Kitsune like to take human husbands, but this often has a tragic outcome, as the Kitsune must flee if her nature is discovered by her husband.
