The western border of the empire needs no Wall, for it is guarded by the nearly impassable Mountains of Heaven, highest in the world. The lord of these ranges resides in the Iron Fortress at the foot of Iron Mountain, guarding the Pass of the Five Elements, by which passage may gained to the far west or beyond. Higher, atop the peak of the mountain, are the pagodas of the Great Masters: Red, White, and Green.
