The ethereal Phoenix is master of forces few understand. Sorcerers, monks and monsters can all be touched by the firebird.
The phoenix is commonly depicted attacking serpents with its talons and its wings spread. It is often described as a composite of many birds including the head of a golden pheasant, the body of a mandarin duck, the tail of a peacock, the legs of a crane, the mouth of a parrot, and the wings of a swallow.
It is traditionally seen as a powerful symbol of rebirth in addition to its associations with fire and spiritual power.
