The House of Peony's Grace is a flower house staffed by kitsune, which appears every so often and then disappears once one of its girls manages to get married off. The party first encountered the house in Fox in Socks. Takanata's I Ching reading of the Mistress of the House reveals that though the House will be "lost" for a long time, the party will meet it again: whether the circumstances are happy or sad will depend on whether the meeting takes place in the Realm Above or the Realm Below. The subsequent meeting took place in the Realm Above.
