Overview

Li Merit has constructed a portable library that he hauls around in a waterproof wagon.

Party members are welcome to use it during puttering, but please let the GM's and Li Merit know when you do so. For now, Li Merit is pretty protective of the library, and sticks around during your research.

To keep things sane, please don't use it more than once per puttering except in cases of emergency. Please don't feel *compelled* to use it, because we don't want to overdo it. Once per puttering is an easy rule of thumb.

The library has shticks and stuff, but the highlights are:

  • Roll for 8's instead of 9's for skills you don't have that a library could plausibly help with.
  • Rolls for 7's instead of 9's for skills you don't have that this library covers.
  • +15 skill on INT rolls for things the library covers
  • +12 INT on INT rolls for things the library covers (remember the stat doubling cap)

"Things the library covers" are listed below, one skill per shtick, as "Focus."

It does other things, too, and I'm open to requests if you can think of other skills it should cover or other shticks it should contain.
