He's probably going to be the next Firelord, and he is betrothed to Kuan-Xi. He was rather intent on tracking her down. She, on the other hand, does not want to marry him because he'd go make her live in a palace and it would be boring.

Yoshi spent some time talking to him, and thinks he's rather arrogant; Katsu thought Yoshi was trying to get him involved in insurrections on the Shrouded Isle, so there may have been some misunderstanding. Katsu doesn't appear to love Kuan-Xi, but takes his family obligations seriously and thinks she should as well.
