Major events in the Shrouded Isle in the past hundred and fifty years.

• In the first Year of the Phoenix since the Regency Council was formed: House change to Kobiyashi
• In the third Year of the Butterfly since the Regency Council was formed: War with the Arcade, due to escalating trade restrictions between the Shrouded Isle and the Arcade.
• In the third Year of the Fox since the Regency Council was formed: The fleet of the Arcade vanishes in the mists cloaking the Shrouded Isle and is never seen again.
• In the third Year of the Crane since the Regency Council was formed: House change to Suzuki, who seems to be getting unofficial credit for having done something with the mists.
• In the fifth Year of the Butterfly since the Regency Council was formed: The Northerners invade in boats, attacking the Shrouded Isle instead of the coastline. This is unusual.
• In the fifth Year of the Phoenix since the Regency Council was formed: House change to Minoru - the previous Firelord steps down to let the young Minoru heir coordinate the defenses of the Isle with the Dragon Navy.
• In the sixth Year of the Tiger since the Regency Council was formed: House change to Suzuki
• In the seventh Year of the Bear since the Regency Council was formed: Volcano erupts
• In the seventh Year of the Dog since the Regency Council was formed: Year of Winter
• In the ninth Year of the Spider since the Regency Council was formed: House change to Kobiyashi. House Suzuki is blamed for the volcano and the winter, and is quite unpopular.
• In the eleventh Year of the Phoenix since the Regency Council was formed: House change to Minoru
• In the eleventh Year of the Crane since the Regency Council was formed: House change to Kobiyashi
