Phoenix should be the Shrouded Isle. Spider feels more like the Hidden City than the Forest of Chin (esp in light of the Chancery spies that are presumably not just in Daizhou). --Kate 15:56, 27 May 2009 (EDT)

I assume the ones in bold are the ones you are more or less sure of. Elizabeth

They're the ones I'm feeling confident about, yes. --Eon 16:04, 27 May 2009 (EDT)

The Illuminated Precincts feels pretty good to me too. I'm more up in the air about a lot of the others. --Kate 16:26, 27 May 2009 (EDT)

I dunno. The Forest of Chin doesn't seem very shy or subtle and I think it was better when it was a spider. But also I don't know anything about the Hidden City. --Lijuan 16:18, 27 May 2009 (EDT)

Well, I kind of like the kingdoms being grouped in rough seasons, I guess for no other reason than it appeals to my sense of aesthetics, so I'm going to cling to it until someone comes up with data that refutes it or paints a better overall picture. So, where would you put Serpent, then? Could be the Illuminated Precincts or the Arcade, but neither of those seem more snaky than the Forest. --Eon 16:35, 27 May 2009 (EDT)

Well somebody did the "strike in surprise from hiding" so maybe if we knew where the blockade came from we'd know who the serpent is! --Lijuan 16:52, 27 May 2009 (EDT)
A Savanna family bought the ships... --Eon 16:58, 27 May 2009 (EDT)

I'm going to claim that the Actions in Magical Rituals stuff is not actually conjecture, since this is the way the ritual bluesheet pretty much claims it works, so I'm going to remove it from this page since it's on that one. --Eon 18:24, 15 June 2009 (EDT)

Would swapping the Savanna of Tears and the Forest of Chin work? I don't think the Forest of Chin is very flamboyant. --Lijuan 21:24, 17 June 2009 (EDT)

Given the comments about cycles within cycles, it would be an extremely good idea to get the antidote administered well before the end of the year. --Shen Wei Han 12:38, 21 September 2009 (EDT)

The "Other Countries" section needs updating -- we now know that the North does not have Yin and Yang but Life and Death. The South may differ only in cosmology or might have a similar difference. --HeidiB 11:51, 18 April 2011 (UTC)

I updated the Talisman stat-doublings based on my most recent Connections reading:

> * The Great Talisman of the Tortise doubles the wearer's Intelligence.
> * The Great Talisman of the Dog doubles the wearer's Resolve.
> * The Great Talisman of the Serpent doubles the wearer's Wits.
You cross this one out

> * The Great Talisman of the Crane doubles the wearer's Grace.
> * The Great Talisman of the Spider doubles the wearer's Strength.
You cross this one out

> * The Great Talisman of the Bear doubles the wearer's Resistance.

Spider and Serpent are the only ones not confirmed now. I filled them in as the cross-outs above indicate they should be, but Strength for Serpent strikes me as Wrong enough that I'm considering whether Serpent and Spider just have anti-scry things on their Talismans. (Strength seems wrong for Spider, too, but not necessarily for Dragon.)
