It is said that a great sorcerer can only be finally defeated by another sorcerer, a master of the blade by another swordsman. But no doubt such things are children's tales.
So you can't run a sorcerer through with a sword, or if you do he doesn't die?
- It's certainly said in children's tales that some sorcerers can come back from death stronger and more angry than before. Sometimes they just turn out to have apprentices. --Boojum 09:50, 4 March 2009 (EST)
- If you run them through and they die, they weren't great enough to have the 1/run "Die with Style" shtick. :-)
- You can probably kill a great sorcerer by running him through with a sword, but have you truly defeated him?
