Questions (to try to figure out the mechanics, not 'cause I plan to be Yellow Silk School):

Why are Silken Distraction and Silken Parry Frequency 5 rather than 4? Do they give you a die of dodge even when you're not taking an action to dodge?

Frequency 4 is you get to use it once every action. Frequency 5 is you get to use it whenever it's relevant. Example: Two guys attack you. You split your dice to dodge them both. At frequency 4, you can add the +1 to either split. At frequency 5 you can add it to both. if you also have Yield Like Silk and split your dodge pool to dodge two *more* attackers, your +1 applies to both of those splits as well at frequency 5. --Mjperson 18:32, 5 February 2009 (EST)

Silk Glove, Iron Fist is adding to toughness, not dodge dice, right?

Um, no, it's adding your Yang stat to the damage you do on attacks (in addition to the Strength bonus, and the successes time multiplier). --Mjperson 18:32, 5 February 2009 (EST)

Silk Glove, Iron Fist: Flowing silks can hide a deadly strike. Adepts of the Yellow Silk school may add their Yang stat to the damage they do in melee. Freq 4, Power 3

Does Sight through Silk last until you take the cloth off, or end after a round?

As designed, it lasts until you take the cloth off. This is partially why it makes you blind while you do it... That keeps it at power 3.

Why is Silken Shroud Yin rather than Yang? (Or Chi?)

Excellent question. In my head at the time, Yin was more for healing with Yang being more for damage. I'm sure others will come to different conclusions now and then. Defining exactly what is Yin and what is Yang is often a difficult task since almost everything is both.  ;-) --Mjperson 18:32, 5 February 2009 (EST)
