The beloved only child of Ti Lao and Ti Wren, the thirteen-year-old Ti Jun is also a favorite of the court. He has not yet learned all of his mother's patience, nor his father's reserve, and most who live at court have found him at their elbow at one point or another, asking a stream of questions or permission to try his hand at whatever is going on - and usually, remarkably effectively.
