Concept

Dragon/Master of Chi

Name

Xiao Fa gave himself that name when he started learning with the Meihua Sannong Servants at the Roof of the World. He acknowledges no other name now. He takes no family name normally, but if pressed will use "Han" (a very common surname) as his family name.

Other names include:

  • Pilgrim Xiao
  • the new Silent Han Bob
  • Brother Han (but only Takanata calls him that)

Description and Demeanor

Xiao Fa is tall and handsome, with a quiet way about him and sad brown eyes flecked with malachite green. His head is always freshly and neatly shaved these days. No buzz or fuzz anymore. He wears the plain robes and wide green sash of a Meihua Sannong Selfless Path servant.

He speaks of himself, formally, in the third person when he does at all: "This one has found life to be much less complicated when the selfishness is removed from it." He often uses somewhat old-fashioned forms, a complicated set of expressive gestures and bows, not in wide use anymore, to express himself wordlessly when he can.

Xiao Fa makes eye contact more now than he used to.
