Met a man from the House of Beneficient Travel in Daizhou, who was flush with cash, and mentioned that his House had recently sold a lot of ships to a Savanna clan.

The type of ships involved were the right sort to be part of the fleet we saw blockading the Butterfly Kingdom, though the number of ships he was talking about were not enough for the entire fleet. The deal was done in the Month of the Dog, and it was not a rush job; most of the ships were newly built, though a few of them were existing ships. (Maybe they got slightly rushed? Don't know.) The buyers were the Gyeong River clan.

Kiri thought you'd want at least six months of planning time for a naval invasion.
