Call for Pages, 2008-10-24

The city criers spend several days announcing that King Gaeric's court is recruiting pages and squires. Youths (boys and girls) between seven and fourteen may enter their names in a lottery to be chosen as pages; those between fourteen and seventeen as squires.

The thing that the criers find particularly exciting is that anyone can be chosen, not just the "hoity toities".
