Acadystra

The Acadystra is surely one of the most irregular schools in existence. All that can really be said is that some of the students go on, after some years of study, to class themselves as mages. Some stay at the Acadystra forever as students, some become teachers themselves, and others leave to pursue their own goals, but it is a rare practicioner of the Art in Tourmaline who has not spent some time there.

During the reign of Vytarus Scave, it was not infrequent to hear that one of the older or more powerful wizards of the Acadystra had been summoned to assist Scave. Very few such were ever heard from again, while those who ignored a summons were more likely to be put to a very bloody end.

Some instructors at the Acadystra:

• Levin Marinus (Professor of Divinatory Arts) is a middle-aged man with a spare wardrobe and a wary gaze. It is rumored that he has not spoken in twenty years, but this does not stop him from teaching classes.
