Notes about foreign magic systems.
Northern magic:
The overall stat is called Power. Power substats are Life (Yang), Death (Yin), Blood (Chi).
- Life Magic is the one most often used directly.
- Necromancy is Life and Death.
- Beast Mastery is Life and Blood.
- Battle is Death and Blood.
Northern mages historically have more lopsided Power substats than Empire mages, as they will not buy up the substat that they don't use.
Southern magic:
The overall stat is called Dharma. Dharma substats are Light (Yang), Dark (Yin), and Shadow (Chi).
- Shadow is Light and Dark in a sense (Light and Dark must co-exist to allow Shadow to exist)
- It appears that each of the stats is used to power magics separately, like Empire magic, not Northern Magic.
