On feeding false data to a cryptomancy investigation - Takanata will note that Jin has said if there *is* no answer to the thing you are looking for ("Who is the spy in X?" when there isn't one, for instance), you will still get an answer and it tends to be one that is particularly good at causing you trouble. He didn't comment on what false data does, but that's a thing he should probably be asked about before jumping into a plan to fake data for Precious Jade.
